Make Your Own Bucket List
I’m not a fan of the term bucket list, which is why I call mine a limitless list or life list. However, it’s basically the same thing. The only thing I don’t like about “bucket list” is that it’s become so mainstream that it’s lost a lot to its meaning in my opinion. I see people making their entire bucket list by copying others. If you’re just making a list for the sake of having something to do, I don’t recommend it.
A true bucket list should be true to you. It should come from your heart and from your own dreams. Why put effort and money into a list that’s not very important to you?
Start like this
1. Write down a whole bunch of goals you’d like to achieve. Think of personal goals, professional goals, health goals, love goals, and travel goals, to name a few. Don’t let your limiting beliefs win. Just write them down, no matter how far-fetched they are. I write “go to space” as one of my goals. That’s about as unlikely as it gets for me at this point in time. But hey, think big!
2. Pick 10 or less from that list. Choose the most important ones and accomplish those first. If you can, choose the easiest one first to give you a confidence boost for the rest.
3. Determine a length of time for completing the list. A lot of people fail at this step. A list is great but without a timeline, it can easily become another forgotten thing on the to-do list. Look over your list or at your 10 (or less) most important goals. What length of time do you think you could complete them in? The trick is not to give yourself as much time in the world but also not to cut yourself short with a ridiculous timeline. Don’t give yourself 20 years to complete 10 relatively simple goals and don’t give yourself an unreasonably one month to complete them either. Think of a time that’s inspiring, challenging, but doable.
4. Examine your list every 6-12 months depending on the timeline. For mine, I have 10 years to do 100 fairly difficult goals. However, our dreams and interests change over time and so, if a goal is no longer important to you, cross it off and put something more important in its place.
5. Next, choose the most important goals you’d like to complete first. Now brainstorm ideas for making them happen. Create a plan for each goals. Some goals might be interconnected. Some not. However, if you don’t make a plan for it, it likely won’t happen.
Once you’re finished, feel free to share it with me. You can either contact me by clicking here or by tweeting me @MatthewGBailey so everyone can see it!
Live Limitless,

Cooking, Eating, or Drinking Bucket List Ideas
Few things are as soothing as enjoying a great meal. Cooking, eating, and drinking are things we do every day, but do you feel prepared to try more things? These food-focused bucket list ideas are sure to entice your taste buds. You won’t be able to stop at just these ideas!
121. Attend a wine tasting
While you might enjoy a glass of wine every now and then, it’s even more special when you treat yourself right at the source. A wine tasting at a vineyard is the best way to connect with your favorite beverage.
122. Make bread from scratch
Few things are as delicious as fresh bread warm from the oven. Challenge yourself to make your own bread from a sourdough starter. It might not be perfect at first, but this is a worthy skill.
123. Host a themed dinner party
A themed dinner party is a chance to step outside your culinary boundaries. Whether you invite guests to bring their own dishes or prepare the whole meal yourself, it’s sure to impress.
124. Create your own recipe
Is there a dish that wows your guests every time you prepare it? This is a sign you should create your recipe and share it with your friends and family.
125. Experience fine dining
We all love going out to eat, but what about fine dining? Often reserved for special occasions, treat yourself to a fine dining experience “just because” you deserve it.
126. Try a new cuisine
If there’s a part of the world you’ve always wanted to explore, now is the time to try that new cuisine for yourself. You can prepare a dish from scratch at home or visit a local restaurant. Better yet, dine while you travel.
127. Make your own ice cream
Ice cream is one of the most popular desserts for a good reason. Though finding plenty of flavors at your local grocery store is easy, few taste as delicious as making it from scratch yourself.
128. Visit a local farmer’s market
Challenge yourself to cook a meal with ingredients directly from your local farmer’s market. Taking the time to support local farmers and vendors is an important way to connect with your food.
129. Plant a herb garden
A herb garden is a small, approachable way to grow herbs in any space you have. While a full-blown veggie garden might not be possible, this will take your dishes up a notch.
130. Brew the perfect cup of coffee
As any java addict knows, the perfect cup of coffee doesn’t come easily. It takes practice and tools to make something worthy of your local caffeine joint.

Bonus: Get Inspiration
Sometimes our brains can’t even imagine half of the fun things that we could do. Getting inspiration for your bucket list makes it more complete. 6.
Candy Box Images
